Bridal Treatment Planning in Aylesbury
You will be looked at, photographed and remembered more on this one day than on almost any other. It is entirely reasonable to want your skin to feel like your own — just calmer, clearer and better rested than usual.
What follows is the plan we build with brides at our Aylesbury clinic. It is deliberately unhurried, because the treatments that make the most difference are the ones that need the most time.
Twelve Months Before — The Ideal Starting Point
A year sounds excessive until you understand what it buys you: room to be patient.
- A full consultation and digital skin analysis, so decisions are based on what your skin is actually doing rather than how it looks under bathroom lighting.
- Starting a medical-grade skincare routine. Skin renews slowly; twelve months of the right products outperforms any single treatment.
- Beginning a course for any long-standing concern — acne scarring, pigmentation, uneven texture.
This is also when we find out how your skin responds to us, and you find out whether you trust us. Both matter more than any individual appointment.
Nine Months Before
- Continuing or completing your first course of microneedling or chemical peels.
- Skin-quality treatments such as Profhilo, which work across several sessions.
- A review of the skincare routine, adjusting for anything that is not working.
Six Months Before
- Any treatment involving volume or contour, such as dermal fillers, so there is generous time to settle and adjust.
- A second course of texture work if your first course showed good results.
- If you are considering treatment for excessive sweating, plan it now — summer weddings, fitted dresses and long receptions are exactly the scenario it helps with.
Three Months Before
The plan tightens. Nothing new and experimental from here.
- Final Profhilo or polynucleotide session.
- Anti-wrinkle injections if they are part of your plan — three months allows one round, a review, and a second if needed, all well clear of the day.
- Any filler adjustment, with a review appointment booked at the same time.
One Month Before
- A hydrating or gently brightening treatment.
- A final skincare check — and a firm decision to change nothing else.
The Final Fortnight
No injectables. No new products. No trying the sheet mask someone gave you at the hen do. This is the part of the plan people find hardest and it is the part that protects everything else.
A Word About Doing Too Much
The brides who look best on the day are almost never the ones who had the most done. They are the ones who started early, did a small number of things properly, and stopped in good time.
If something is worrying you and the date is close, come and talk to us. We would far rather tell you honestly that it is too late for a particular treatment than rush it and have you spend your wedding day thinking about your face.
Bringing Your Wedding Party
Mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids and grooms are all welcome. We are happy to arrange consultations together, and to build simpler plans for anyone joining later in the process.
Looking for something for the wedding party? A gift voucher can be used against any treatment or product at the clinic.
Not a Wedding?
If you are planning for a different occasion — a milestone birthday, a holiday or a work event — our shorter pre-event treatment timeline may suit you better.

Frequently Asked Questions
I am getting married in three months. Is it too late?
Not at all — it simply narrows the options. Three months still comfortably covers anti-wrinkle injections, a short course of peels or microneedling, and a proper skincare routine. Book a consultation and we will build the plan around the time you have.
Should I have a trial first?
For anything you have not had before, yes — and the timeline above is built to allow it. Trying a treatment once, well before the day, is the single best way to avoid surprises.
Do you treat grooms?
Regularly. Grooms tend to book later and want something subtle. Both are entirely workable.
How much should I budget?
It varies widely depending on what your skin needs. We will give you clear, itemised pricing at your consultation, along with an honest view of what is worth doing and what is not.
