Profhilo® is injected using a specific technique called the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) method. Five small injection points are placed on each side of the face to ensure even distribution and maximum effect.
The recommended initial course consists of two treatments, spaced four weeks apart.
A single Profhilo treatment will take around 30 minutes to deliver safely.
You may experience slight redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection points for 24–48 hours, but these usually settle quickly.
Patients often start to notice improved hydration and glow within days. The full results develop gradually over 4–8 weeks as collagen and elastin production increases.
Side effects are rare and temporary. Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness at injection sites may occur but typically resolve within 1–2 days.
You should avoid touching or massaging the area for at least 6 hours post treatment. You should avoid exercise and saunas for 24 hours post treatment.
