About Lip Flip
A lip flip is a safe and effective way of giving the top lip a fuller appearance without the need for lip filler. The treatment consists of a small amount of anti wrinkle injections being carefully placed around the muscle which controls the top lip.
By temporarily reducing the movement of this muscle it causes the top lip to appear fuller and improving the lines that appear above the top lip.

Only 1 treatment is often required to effectively give you a fuller top lip. A review appointment is conducted at 2 weeks to assess effectiveness of the treatment and further treatment may be required at this stage.
Following a face to face consultation the treatment procedure will take around 20 minutes.
There is often little to no recovery time following this treatment. You may experience a small bruise following any injectable treatment.
It is common to start to notice results from about 7 days post treatment, with full results being evident from 2 weeks. There are a number of factors that can contribute to variations in your treatment length but averagely your results should last around 2 months but may last as long as 3 months.
This treatment is very safe and any side effects from this treatment are extremely rare. You may experience a small raised area or bruise from the injection site which will be temporary. Some patients may notice slight difficulty when pursing the lips (for example, drinking through a straw or whistling), but this effect is temporary.
On the day of the treatment you will be advised of the treatment aftercare but you should avoid strenuous exercise and extreme heat for 24 hours post treatment.
